In 2019, I rescued a Staffordshire bull terrier cross from Dogs Trust, who had been abandoned, abused and given up on. He was a very anxious and vocal little boy but had so much love to give. There has been a stigma towards his types of breed for years, so whenever he would bark even to say hello, I would see the side glances. I decided to make him a bowtie and cute bandana to try to make him look as friendly and lovable as his personality. Slowly and surely people started smiling and cooing at how cute and smart he looked. People then wanted to come over and say hello to him and gradually asked to pet him to which they received lots of wet kisses and happy bum wiggles and that is how RooBear Co. came to be.
